The Hotel looks out on the suggestive fortress of Portoferraio and gives the chance to enjoy an unique view. It is right in front of the ancient "Cosmopoli" with its imposing Medici fortresses and its artistic wealth rich in architectural treasures and beautiful monuments, which are evidence of the flourishing Medici age in the island.
The historical center of Portoferraio is really a "jewel". You will find out how fascinating it is, to go around the small roads in the town reminding of its sumptuous history, while you go shopping in the several shops and boutiques, stop for dinner at unforgettable restaurants or have an aperitive in one of the bars along the seaside, where luxurious yachts are anchored.
The Hotel lies only 500 mt. far from the historical center and 300 mt. far from the typical white gravel beach, called "Le Ghiaie": it gives you the chance to both enjoy your sun-and-sea holidays and cultur visits in the historical center, where you can "breath" a centuries-old history, fro Cosimo I° dè Medici up to Napoleon. Its is also an ideal place to make excursions all around the island.
